Hello University of Toronto!
We are the Middle Eastern Student Association here to build a community within our university. Our group strives to provide a non-political, non-sectarian environment where students have the chance to interact with each other and the outer community.
The main objective of the group is to promote the Middle Eastern culture and traditions at the St. George campus. We also as a group aim to support Middle Eastern students with the transition to university life and throughout the years of study.
We will be starting up weekly information booths around campus so come check us out at Sidney Smith and the Bahen Center on Tuesdays from 9-12 and Fridays 2-5! Please come pass by to get to know us and provide input on what you expect from MESA.

Members are needed! We welcome everyone, from everywhere! We are a Middle Eastern Association however we welcome everyone from different backgrounds and cultures.
Here are the privileges and steps on how to become a member:
Membership to the group is open to all the University of Toronto members (students, staff, faculty and alumni).
The group is also open to non – U of T students. However, these members are not eligible for committee membership. Members must register with a designated executive by submitting their full name and a valid email address. Members can become committee members by paying the “committee membership fee” stated below.
The committee membership fee will be $10 per year.
Committee membership benefits:
– The right to vote in elections
– The right to vote in events
– Eligibility to run for executive positions
– Subsidies for MESA events
– Invited to the committee membership appreciation event
Any committee member of the club may apply for a refund within one (1) month of becoming a committee member. No refunds are permitted 30 days after the election periods.
